Testing on the actuator drivers and microcontroller software is well underway. Errors and PCB layout flaws has allready resulted in a version 2.0 driver, and now a version 3.0 driver is under development. The picture beneath shows a 3D image of the version 3.0 actuator driver. Some of the problems on the drivers has been high voltage surges, which has destroyed either the MOSFETs or the driver circuit for the MOSFETs. In the new actuator driver design, another MOSFET driver will be implemented in hope to be able to cope with the high voltage surges.
